So, would you guys recommend wrapping the hoses with insulation? I would rather not close. Also would you recommend running the pump at night instead of day?

Should i use a winter cover? Right now I'm using a solar cover. Someone had mention not to use a solar cover in the winter.

Re: Polystyrene Foam Insulation for Pool Bottom - Pink Vs. B Kendog2, my wife made a suggestion. While taping the seams vertical you may want to also use small pieces horizontal to the seam. You could space them out. Don't know if it will improve it or not. Just a thought.

Brad, how's the salt going? I have the same unit as you. I do have a plug in for my pump to run auto with the unit. I have a ag pool at 12,000 gal. had to add just over 300 lbs salt to get it started.
