Need input What would you do to fix tile?

1/4” gap on the thick one right in the middle vs 1/8” normal between tiles on the mesh so twice as thick. This is measured on the side they haven’t grouted yet but should be the same on all 4 sides given how they all line up. The line 3” from the top is 3/16” so not quite as bad as the middle

I’ll share a close up here shortly and measure it but it’s roughly twice as thick as the space naturally between the mosaic that’s fixed to the mesh backing. Appreciate all the replies. They are going to test out some darker grout to see if that hides the overly thick middle line at which...

Need input What would you do to fix tile?

Thanks for the quick reply. The thick line in the very middle of wall is between 2 rows of full sized sheets. The thinner line 3 inches from top is between a row of full size mosaic sheets and the top row of 3” (1/4 of a sheet laid horizontally). They said they did it so the very bottom would...

Need input What would you do to fix tile?

Hello, We are at the tile stage of our new pool build and most everything else has gone fine up until now. I am concerned with poor spacing between the sections of mosaic tile seen on our raised infinity spa. We went with lighter grout which was meant to make the tiles pop but also is enhancing...

Heat Pump vs Glacier Evap Cooler

Thanks for the response, got a great laugh out of the Dorothy reference (watched Twister about a few weeks ago as it was on one of our streaming devices and it's still great). I'll talk to the PB about running a return line for it and ensuring plenty of pad space so we can easily add it next...

First Time New Build: Feedback on Equipment & Materials Please

Thanks for the detailed response! I'll need more AUX for sure it seems so it would come down to ET8 or intellicenter. I was trying to research the actual price difference between ET4 + screen logic vs Intellicenter (or ET8) but seems to be hard to find online comps and the prices vary pretty...

Heat Pump vs Glacier Evap Cooler

We are building a pool in the Austin area and are debating adding the chiller now versus next summer if needed (equipment pad will be sized to allow for it either way). We already have a Pentair 400k BTU Nat Gas heater that will be included to heat our pool & spa so I'm curious how adding an...

First Time New Build: Feedback on Equipment & Materials Please

Thanks for the quick reply. It does come with the screenlogic kit. I am curious what all counts as a "function" for the 4 functions on the ET4. I assume 1 gets used for both bubblers, 1 for pool lights, and 1 for spa lights (would need them on seperate aux to turn them on/off independently but...

First Time New Build: Feedback on Equipment & Materials Please

Hello All, short time lurker first time poster. Building a new pool just outside Austin in Dripping Springs. We picked a builder after talking to a little over half dozen and are starting the permit process so wanted to see if anyone has any strong opinions about what they have laid out below in...
