    Omnilogic MSP Update 4.8

I haven't, but thanks for your suggestion. I just assumed they may lack support on 3+ yrs old unit, but that's poor assumption on my part. I will give them a call or submit an inquiry. Thanks again!

    Omnilogic MSP Update 4.8

Thank you ajw22. Also I should ask, is it possible to downgrade Firmware on Omnilogic using USB port? Is it advisable? Appreciate the help, thank you.

    Omnilogic MSP Update 4.8

Hi, anyone where to download R4.8.0 firmware? Reason = I updated to R5.0.2 a week ago and the pool pump stops randomly (runs for several hours but stops). When I was on R4.8.0, I didn't experience this issue. Thank you!

Pump not working but looks like have power to it. Hayward 2.7 VSP. Behavior of bad capacitor on a pump?

Hey all, (mas985, Jim, James). First, want to say thank you to all of you for helping me and the community. It's awesome to hear back from pool experts (especially for 1st time pool owner like myself), thank you. Solved = in short, replaced the motor section (motor + control box area) and...

Pump not working but looks like have power to it. Hayward 2.7 VSP. Behavior of bad capacitor on a pump?

Thank you mas985, I tried powering on relay module first, waited 10+ sec, then turned on pump + controller (it's same breaker), but error is still there. Thank you James as well, good to know. Luckily I am able to get a technician to come out tomorrow(most were overbooked due to summer), so...

Pump not working but looks like have power to it. Hayward 2.7 VSP. Behavior of bad capacitor on a pump?

Thanks JamesW & Jim, appreciate your feedback. I think you may be right on multimeter being cheap, I'll try to borrow another for 2nd read. Side note, I'm still seeing below error message on Omnilogic device, would this be a contributor of motor not being powered in some way...

Pump not working but looks like have power to it. Hayward 2.7 VSP. Behavior of bad capacitor on a pump?

Looks like I'm getting 260v to pump (reading L1&L2). Is motor control board bad possibly? Or does the entire pump need to be replaced? Thanks for your help

Pump not working but looks like have power to it. Hayward 2.7 VSP. Behavior of bad capacitor on a pump?

Thank you Jimahbe, makes sense. I'll retest to ensure I go direct between L1 & L2 to see if I get 240. Update = just checked between L1 to L2 and it reads 261. So I'm assuming I'm getting power to motor but there's something wrong with the motor itself. Is it safe to assume that with 260...

Pump not working but looks like have power to it. Hayward 2.7 VSP. Behavior of bad capacitor on a pump?

Hi, looking for help please on Hayward 2.7 Tristar VSP pump, little less than 2yrs old. Symptom = pump looks completely unpowered, pump control panel has no display. Ran for 30min or so, then it tripped breaker when it happened. Using Omnihub setup Troubleshooting = 1) turned all breakers back...

Spa draining water, check valve installed incorrectly? add 2nd check valve?

JamesW, thanks for your suggestion. I hadn't thought about Red-Dot location prior to valve position. I'm not sure what I need to look for on three way valve on the returns, but I can do some research and check it out. Sorry, don't know how to turn on/off Spillover mode. I don't recall seeing...

Spa draining water, check valve installed incorrectly? add 2nd check valve?

Thanks Jimrahbe, appreciate your view. I'll unscrew the cap and check the flap to see if there's any debris, easy and worth checking again based on feedbacks. Sounds like 2nd check valve may not be a common thing, good to know.
