So heater manifold is months away from being avail And I need to bypass in The meantime. need male unions that will work with the jandy female unions so I can Bypass the manifold .anyone know where I can find that? Can’t seem to find any results when googling.

Guess I’ll just replace manifold then and see if it survived .

Is there an easy way to verify the heat exchanger survived the freeze? Manifold is cracked and waiting on that part but want to be sure noting else is busted .

Yea I’m an idiot . Finally caught my mistake. Had been testing with 25ml like everything else . Tested with 10 and it’s right where it should be now at 1800 slightly up from the 1600 last time . Crisis averted lol

So i checked my salt level recently with the taylor kit and its showing 4000ppm . the last time i checked it was about 1600 .. that was a while back but it just doesn't seem possible that acid and bleach added that much salt. is there something else that could be causing a high reading or...

When testing ph with the taylor kit is the following correct. if i test and i cant tell whether its 7.8 or 7.6 and i add one drop of acid demand and it changes to say orange and clearly 7.4 does that mean it was 7.6 .. in other words does one drop of reagent equal roughly a .2 change ?

So I put a scum ball in the skimmer and now it’s covered with 100s of tiny little tan looking bugs .anyone have a similar experience?they are about the size of a pen head. It sure If they are tiny springtails or mites .

yea the one by the skimmer is pointed down and right away from the skimmer .guess i will just play with them and see what helps
