    Pump "Offline"??

Thank you for all the info. When the weather gets back to normal, I'll rewire things so it has constant power, and I'll check the comm cable for issues. This helps me at least understand what the likely cause is. I'll just have to keep a close eye on it til then. The good news is that every time...

    Pump "Offline"??

The pump is definitely connected to the load side of the relay, not the line side - it does not have continuous power. I don't think I changed that, so I thought it was how the installers set it up. Seemed to make sense to me - I thought the relay is how the controller turned the pump on and...

    Pump "Offline"??

I have a Jandy control system and I have it running my winter schedule which keeps my VS pump running at a slow speed most of the day and then it ramps up a bit overnight. I also have freeze guard that turns the pumps on at a higher speed if the temp dips low. A couple of times in the past...

Tips and guidance on mortar repairs

My pool is in need of some repairs and I haven't been impressed with the work done by the last two masons I've had out, so I think I'm going to try to DIY it. Looking for any tips, recommended products, etc for performing the following repairs: 1) Some of the rocks along the backside of my...

    Automation for pH control

It's been working flawlessly so far. I originally had it set with a high point of 7.5 and a hysteresis of 0.2, so it would turn on at 7.5 and off at 7.3. Now I've bumped it up to 7.7 on the high side. The chemical feeder is running when my pump is on a fairly low speed setting, so I've found...

    Automation for pH control

I have the acid pump relay powered by the filter pump relay - to help ensure that the acid pump can only get power if the filter pump is running. I also have the injector on the return side before it gets to the split and valves for the pump vs the pool. Just to be safe, I changed the setup so...

    Automation for pH control

In my setup, the acid Dosing pump injects after the SWG. But from the other posts it sounds like that's still a problem because it's mixing the acid with the freshly generated chlorine? I can easily set the automation so the acid pump runs when the SWG is not running if that's better/safer.
