    Proper wiring approach

The one thing that confuses me is "VS pump should have continuous power and not be connected through the relay." that seems to contradict the other items about the heater and salt generator being connected to the filter relay so they only have power when the filter is running. It sounds like...

    Pump leak - O-Ring??

I noticed a wet spot under my pump and a water trail coming from the outflow side of the pump. I'm thinking maybe it's a bad o-ring, but I haven't taken it apart yet. Is there an o-ring in there and does that seem like the probable cause of a leak here?

This helps me at least understand what the likely cause is. I'll just have to keep a close eye on it til then. The good news is that every time...

    Pump "Offline"??

The pump is definitely connected to the load side of the relay, not the line side - it does not have continuous power. I don't think I changed that, so I thought it was how the installers set it up. Seemed to make sense to me - I thought the relay is how the controller turned the pump on and...

    Pump "Offline"??

I have a Jandy control system and I have it running my winter schedule which keeps my VS pump running at a slow speed most of the day and then it ramps up a bit overnight. I also have freeze guard that turns the pumps on at a higher speed if the temp dips low. A couple of times in the past...
