This is the second year I have done it, can't believe I waited so long. I do close my own pool, but just like you said I peel the cover back when I am working on a return or a skimmer.

Thank you for your reply. I had previously tried smacking the relay and did not get it unstuck. I will test the relay and see whats up.

I am pretty sure I need a new relay but would like to confirm this before purchasing a new one by testing the relay. The relay appears to be stuck because it is providing power at all times regardless of switch position or timer. I know that the switch should have a 300 ohm resistance however I...
