Thanks mark vince and titanium, im pretty happy with the way the pool looks i just wanna get it running right. As for collecting the water coming off the waterfall it would be pretty difficult, the waterfall is in the deep end and way to wide for me to collect all the water coming off of it...

Heres a pic of the watefall without the slide, after looking closer i noticed the slide return line is only 2" (the watefall is a 2 1/2" line ), not sure if or how that will effect the pump action but i do have a valve i can turn the water down on either or if we were to only run the slide...
