That’s awesome. Are y’all getting the nice temperatures that we are getting in Ohio this weekend? Gonna be in the low 80s!

Hopefully the old owners no longer have a pool or will discover TFP!! 😆 I just saw your progress pic and that is AMAZING!!!! How was the CYA level when you first tested? I’m just curious. ☺️ It’s a beautiful pool and late congrats on the new house!!

You have lots of trees, so that’s inevitable. I have a whole woods behind my house so trust me, I get it lol. No pine needles, though! Those do not look fun.

Oh wow. I’m surprised the water temps were warm enough! Do you close early? It’ll be crystal clear in no time!

That looks better than my pool mid-summer!! No worms or silt at all?!

No heater, unfortunately. But yes, nice stretch of 80+ degree temperatures this weekend and some of next week! I call it “floating weather” lol. I can lay out on a large float that keeps me dry so I don’t have to get “in” the water. 😎 Unless my clumsy butt falls off the float. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

0 CYA and 0 FC. Need advise

My pool isn't good enough for them, lol! Maybe they’re fighting with the neighbor’s ducks and they’ll make up soon and chill in their pool? 🤣

Maintenance needed for salt water pool?

Did you download the PoolMath app? It will help tremendously with this. You definitely need to get CYA in there asap or your FC is gonna keep disappearing FAST! And you need to toss the old reagents that are a couple years old and buy new ones. They do go bad.

    Pool Temp and Opening

You would be surprised how many people immediately stop reading after I say “dichlor.” LOL!! It’s like they see that word and instead of reading further, they start doing this….

    Pool Temp and Opening

This is what I keep stashed away for when I need to increase my CYA fast.

    Pool Temp and Opening

Nope! Trichlor are the pucks. They take a lot longer to dissolve. I’m talking about dichlor granules. Both are stabilized chlorine products, but dichlor will increase CYA much faster. Just make sure to brush really good after adding it to your water!
