    first, it appears my autopilot power supply may have crapped out yesterday..i still have green lights, no scale, salts good but no chlorine output. then today, i turned off valves and filter for some reason..and forgot about it while i made supper and started watching tv..decided to go outside...

    any particular reason you're replacing the filter? from an appearance standpoint, it looks great. mine is 27 years old, took it apart last year and laterals are in excellent shape, casing, valve is in great shape. i took out the sand to remove and inspect the laterals and loaded it with zeobrite...
