Tough green stains - Unsure if algae

OH my bad - Fiberglass; it’s roughly 7 months installed. Stain is within a month, maybe a bit longer - We had an algae issue for awhile while SWC got replaced so might have been there longer.

Tough green stains - Unsure if algae

We're having this build-up around the pool edges, and in the landing zone. I've tried to scrub it with a fair amount of pressure and it doesn't come up. There was a fair amount of leaves pooled here for a bit and I'm wondering if it's some kind of residue. But wondering about recommendations on...

Heater only coming on at certain RPM

Interesting - I'll have to check what it shows after I clean it. If I recall brand new I was averaging ~20 at ~2250. I do expect the filters to be dirty - It's been ~2 months since I cleaned em and we had a bloom issue when the salt cell broke a while back. Ahhh, this makes sense. I should have...

Heater only coming on at certain RPM

I saw this in another thread - Where would this error be? The heater screen only ever tells me that "Remote mode is on". Aqualink has no errors on the app, even in Web mode. I also went through the Web -> "Info" screen and it shows NO ERRORS on that page.

Heater only coming on at certain RPM

I have a JXI400P Gas Heater and recently I've been having weird issues; most notably it isn't actually turning on. The app says it is, and the light is on, but the fan doesn't come on. I've done some reading and it seems like it's probably pressure, so I swapped to a pump profile for 2750 RPM...

Jandy Infinicolor 'Blinking' to change colors - Normal/outdated?

There is a relay click, yep. So the lights aren't "fluid" like most RGB lights? Or how the videos for the newer lights make it look? For instance on a Hue bulb (common brand) I could just go to a color wheel and slide around to diff colors, no delay, no pulsing.

Jandy Infinicolor 'Blinking' to change colors - Normal/outdated?

I use AquaLink - It's connected to an Infini Color multi zone transformer*.... I suspect that isn't what it's called, but what I remember being explained by the electrician. I have a spa light, one pool light, and 2 jets - Wanted all 4 on unique zones. If it helps decipher what I have, directly...

Jandy Infinicolor 'Blinking' to change colors - Normal/outdated?

I had a pool installed about 9 months ago, and we're slowly learning to hate changing the colors of the lights - They do something similar to a filmstrip viewer; where something 'shifts' in front of it to make the color over the light source. Is this normal? The videos I watched make it seem a...

Spa backfeeding water to air blower

I can - Usually ~1500 RPM, and it'll still overheat, just slower.

Spa backfeeding water to air blower

Blower to spa jet is probably ~25 feet give or take. The air blower, when mounted, is roughly ~4 feet above water level. You can see the plumbing it comes out of with the plug in it in the pictures Blower size is 1 HP, going to 3 jets. I have a single 'good' pic of the piping and it's the...

Spa backfeeding water to air blower

Hey again - I asked about this before, but a new install has an issue where the spa is backfeeding a lot of water to the air blower; to the point where the air blower shuts itself off in one minute to prevent over-heating. Everyone has told me it means a bad hartsford loop, or no "t-loop", and I...

Best way to get poly sand out of pool?

You know the vacuum idea is smart and dunno why I hadn't considered it. I'm not sure how to vaccuum pavers but I can try! I am thinking about re-applying the sand but it sounds like I need to pressure wash all the old out first? Truthfully, I had hoped it'd stop be now since it's been months.

Recommendation on hand held cleaner for built-in spa?

I have a Dolphin and a solar top level skimmer, but I'm finding the walk-in/lounge spot is constantly dirty, and the footwell of the spa is too small for any of my tools to get, so I'm thinking about buying one of those "vaccuums" that you leverage the skimmer for. But I'm unsure which is the...

Best way to get poly sand out of pool?

Got it, that's what I've been doing. Sadly it keeps coming back, I suspect none of the surrounding sand cured and everytime it rains/blows wind it slowly makes it's way in.
