pH sensors that don't have to be calibrated

Thanks for the update. I think I may be a little confused. Thought you were using the atlas pool kit with the industrial ph probes. From further reading, I believe you are using a raspberry pi solution with the atlas industrial ph probe. Can you confirm, are you using the arduino based pool...

    Tri-Clover / Tri-Clamp Fittings

Thank You! Looks like I am buying a strap wrench. Me and my pipe wrench are likely the source of all my coupling issues. I'll take a look at the CPVC fittings.

pH sensors that don't have to be calibrated

Thanks! Thinking about purchasing it. Do you know if there is any way to add a pressure sensor to the Atlas Scientific Pool kit. I see pH, ORP, temp, and the offer flow (meters are expensive) and others, but not seeing pressure. Thought it would be a quick way to see if filter needs to be...

    Tri-Clover / Tri-Clamp Fittings

Thanks for the replies. Which unions have caused you problems? - Looks like I have a few different unions on the piping. Seems every manufacturer uses a different one and charge a premium for their union. The Jandy unions on my nature2 fusion and connecting the Multiport valve to the filter...

pH sensors that don't have to be calibrated

Curious, have you been using the Atlas Scientific Pool Kit? How is it working for you?

    Tri-Clover / Tri-Clamp Fittings

I have some re-plumbing to do. With the rise in Home brewing, 304 Stainless Steel Tri-clover fittings have gotten to be reasonably priced. I have had issues with unions over time, and wondering if the Tri-clover fitting may make a suitable replacement. With (2) 2" Female npt to Tri-Clamp...

    Jandy RS Problems

Thanks, I did not realize that. I am using the first service mode, but it is switching after a couple of minutes. This surprised me, as I never saw that behavior before. Presently running in auto mode for last 1/2 hour with all JVA's disconnected.

    Jandy RS Problems

I have a Jandy RS system start-up was 2019. I started having some finicky issues with my controls. I have color LED lights, and they are supposed to cycle to correct color and stay on. Sometimes they would begin cycling and go out. Other times not go on at all. The other day, I had issues...

    Acid Demand

Retested with similar results. Checked with test strips as well. I added the 15 oz. of acid. I will check on the effect tomorrow. Maybe Taylor is just very conservative with the additions. Thanks for the help.

    Acid Demand

That is the correct chart. But I believe you are mistaken. The Chart gives what Taylor believes is the total amount of Muriatic Acid to add based on the Acid demand Test. In the test Phenol Red is used to indicate pH value based on color. The Acid Demand Reagent is added dropwise until the...

    Acid Demand

The 7.0-7.2 is a requirement of the Builder, Anthony Sylvan. For first 14 days they want that pH, CH 150-200, TA:60-120, CYA: 0-30.

    Acid Demand

Just trying the iPhone program. Took measurements: FC:1, pH: 7.6, TA:100, CH:200, CYA:0, CSI:-.22, Temp:62. Pool 16,400 gallon was just plastered and filled. trying to keep pH low 7.0 - 7.2 during cure. Using PoolMath it tells me to add 58 oz of 31.45% Muriatic acid to drop the pH. Taylor...
