There is no pypass on my DE filter, it has that push-pull valve.

I will go pick up a Ridgid WD 1670 shop vac from home depot tonight, it has 6.5 HP, hope it is enough. There is no easy way to blow it from the pump size? Is is ok to blow from the skimmer through the DE filter, then heater to the returns?

I did more research, and found out how to manually switch the Jandy valves, and kind of know how to blow out the Caretaker lines, but still dont know if it is ok to blow air through the DE filter ...

Hi Ted, I am searching for a why to blow the caretaker lines, this is helpful. Should I use a shop vac or compressor? and still need to find those tank valved plugs. Thanks, Ste
