So once my skin settled down I headed to a friend’s place last night and hopped in his bromine hot tub. Went home with fingers crossed and, lo and behold, no itching!! Very excited but what a waste of 10 months of no hot tubbing! Bromine it is!

Thank you for that. I actually purged twice and super chlorinated over three days. Today I tested my chlorine demand and it was 22% which is considered very good. It's perfectly balanced too. As Jules said in Pulp Fiction, "The m f is tip top!" My skin is just Marvin in the back seat.
