    Skimmer has no suction and pump has no pressure.

    You probably just need to remove the cover from your pool pump housing, make sure the plastic basket is clean and empty out any debris, then add water to the housing, install the cover and try again. Hopefully that will get the pump primed enough to pull in water from the pool.

    I have checked the lid and o-rings plus lubed them. They are very tight and seem to be air-tight. Turning the "In" valve is hard as it is so tight unless just lubed. I had used a small rubber bladder to send water from the "In" valve back to the pool skimmer. I also just put a hose in that line...
