Anyone use a mesh cover or leaf net when not using the pool. Every year my neighbors trees begin dropping leaves in early Jul and each year I spend much time getting the leaves out of the pool. I even cut back the branches last year, but the trees are quite large and of course have many leaves.

Actually no as I guess the logistics of getting a rigid 16 x 32 or even 8 x 16 screen for even half the pool would be difficult. I will look into the mesh covers. Thanks.

Have a Hayward EC75 filter. Purchased in 2013. While pumping the filter half of the plastic handle broke off. Is is possible to replace the handle. I do use a robot cleaner for pool cleaning so I have not been backwashing the filter as often when I used to manually vacuum the pool.

Current pool size is rectangle 16 X 36 including steps at 1 end. Depth is 9 feet. Vinyl pool. Can pool dimensions be changed? A smaller pool would be ideal. Was thinking 12 X 24. What about depth? Is it easier to just keep current size but have the deep end at just 5 feet.
