    WetEdge Prism Matrix

Yes, my pool is Prism Matrix Deep Sea Blue. Words/pictures can't describe how beautiful the finish is. The upgrade cost was worth it all day long. I would consider leaving something else off to fund the plaster upgrade. Drop something that can be easily added later. In my case, I left off the...

Pool Renovation Project - MA (pics and video)

3 Gallons of MA is no where near enough. My pool was plastered a little over 1 month ago. I fought constant PH rise almost the entire time. It's been a little over a week that my PH has leveled off and no longer requires daily MA. Your pool is close in size to mine. I easily used 1/2 gallon...

New in-ground pool - Boston, MA. Lots of pics

Bonnie, sent you a private message with more details. We used Environmental Pools. Tcrote, hahaha ramp idea is awesome. I'm not sure what happened but the frogs haven't been around for the last week or so. I have been making slow progress on the landscaping. Doing it myself, so squeezing...

Who's building it and how much?

OMG! That's insane. I have most of the same options and my pool is slightly larger but it will be in the 140k range when all said and done.

    New Pool Build in Massachusetts

We also cut a bunch of trees. I'm not expecting to get a lot of leaves in the pool so going to keep my pool open as long as possible. Ours got water on Aug 14th and the kids have been in it every single day - rain or shine. It was 70 and rainy today and they were in - Crazy!

    New Pool Build in Massachusetts

Were they worried about rain? I thought it was supposed to rain today but it's pretty sunny out there now. I wouldn't want them plastering if it was going to rain. Also means weekend work for them. Plaster today, acid wash and pool fill tomorrow.

    New Pool Build in Massachusetts

Wow, that's a tough call. It is getting late up her in New England. There are still a bunch of 80+ degree days in the forecast. My PB is waiting to install salt and SWG till plaster has cured for 30 days. Monday of next week is 30 days. At this point I think I'm keeping my pool open till...

Who's building it and how much?

Agreed Carnut! I don't know what the deal is here. Seems like we have the most expensive pricing of all locations. Likely due to short swimming season and limited demand. I'm north of $100K and still not done... Ouch

    Level Spa with Inground Pool

There are 2 ways to address the problem. One is expensive, the other not so much. Low cost method - exactly as your pool builder is suggesting. Raise the spa edge so it's an inch higher than your normal water level height. If middle of tile is your normal water level - assuming a 6" tile and...

New in-ground pool - Boston, MA. Lots of pics

Pspeech, I may be misunderstanding your question. Are you asking how do I keep water from the pool getting in the spa? If so, my pool and spa have different water levels. I usually keep my pool water level around 3" below coping (middle of the waterline tile). The negative edge on my spa is...

New in-ground pool - Boston, MA. Lots of pics

I only have a single Pentair VS XF pump. I have 5 returns (7 if you count the 2 venturi skimmers) in my pool and 2 in the spa. I do not have heat plumbed yet, but I have run the spa many times to test things. All my valves are controlled through my Pentair Intellitouch. I have macros setup...

New in-ground pool - Boston, MA. Lots of pics

Kim, I completely forgot about it and backed right over it. Full fire going, it had been on all morning! I have no idea what the tires on the bobcat are but they handled the firepit no problem!
