Anyone open in NE yet and have lower water than usual?

I live close to Springfield MA and I need to drain my pool to return to normal. When I closed it last October, I drained it 12 inches to go below returns (I know I don't need to, but for me, it's easier). I have a mesh safety cover so normally I have to drain it early spring (once or twice...

    Rant Robot Cleaners

My 8-year old Maytronics Dolphin Supreme M5 motor just quit after 4 heavy-use days (a late pool opening in New England this year and lot of algae). For the past few years it hasn't really climbed walls too well and seemed to take longer to clean. The pump motor was likely the problem because...

    Dolphin Premier M5 - 4th Season Refurb

Thanks for this! I just replaced my ultra fine filters, brushes, climbing rings and tracks because my Supreme M5 just wasn't cleaning well anymore. Bought it in 2014. I think The climbing rings were the main culprit as the new ones look and feel sooo much better.

Dolphin Supreme M Series Owner’s Club

What's the best brush to use for Vinyl liner. My Supreme M5 came with "Combined Brush" which the user manual states is "'For rough ceramic surfaces abd mosaic tiles." The manual lists the PVC brushs as "For concrete, PVC, fiberglass and liner."

    First New England closing

I live in West Suffield, CT and typically close my pool the 3rd or last weekend in September and every year since 2007, my water has been clear when opening in the spring. I do use a chemical closing kit (I realize there are other options and that's one reason why I joined this forum) from an...

New member, plenty of pool experience...

Just introducing myself and saying thanks! I appreciate this forum and have used it often, but have not registered till now. I worked for a pool company in my college years installing both above and in-ground pools, doing openings & closings, billing out as a service technician, bobcat operator...
