There is no name plate on any side of the sand filter unfortunately. Are the internal manifolds universal for this style of sand filter?

We have been getting a lot of sand in the pool and we notice sand when we backflush. I assume the internal manifold is cracked. How easy are those to replace?

The dog being the white wire? If I remove that will the timer turn off? I don't like the noise the timer makes.

I had a Intelliflow pump installed last month. I now want to just hardwire the electric line and turn the Intermatic timer off. Is it as simple as connecting red to red and black to black? (with the breaker off of course!)

So the pump pot just screws into the pvc connection? That is great to know! Also, any idea what purpose the faucet head above the pump serves?

We might be buying a new build home in Phoenix AZ and wanted opinions on this style pool: Around 4-5 feet deep on the deeper end with a smallish, gas heated, jacuzzi on the side. What would I be looking at for approximate costs on a project like this?
