Good article. My test never turns that blue. More grape/purple color. I'll pull a sample and take photos and post them here so people can tell me if the colors look normal or not.

Unless I am doing the test wrong. When I put in the drops, the water is not turning a dark red, only a pinkish color. Does this sound right?

We installed a new inground pool this year. We are noticing a large amount of spiders around it. A few are making their way into it. Really gross as I have found a few very large ones in the skimmers. I started spraying around it and the patio. Is anyone else having the same issue and if so...

I'll take a picture when I get home and post it tonight. The problem I see, is that the only 2 manual valves are for 1-spa fountain, 2- shear decents in the pool, everything else is automatic via wiring.
