Stenner pump install using in line puck chlorinator

Inflatableman1 I removed the pic of the tie in to the 320 because the mods are right, it can be dangerous. However, I control my pool and I'm the only one who does any work on it so I know that I won't have an issue. I believe most 320's have a pre tapped 1/2 npt fitting at the top and...

    Testing the waters

First thing everyone her will tell you is to throw the test strips out. Get a good test kit, Taylor K2006 or the kit from TFTestkit. Use the pool calculator here: The Pool Calculator It will tell you exactly how much to add of everything. Based on your volume of water, it says add 117oz by...

Stenner pump install using in line puck chlorinator

Yes, I should have mentioned that, I cleaned out the 320 before starting the install and won't be running them both at the same time. I'll use the 320 at the beginning of the season to get the CYA up, clean it out and go exclusively bleach for the rest of the season.

Stenner pump install using in line puck chlorinator

So after some internal strife (Stenner vs. SWG) I decided on Stenner. I did the install this weekend and am up and running. The install only took about 2 hours, most of that spent walking back and forth to the garage to grab another tool. Dummy. Here's the parts breakdown Stenner MPHP10 $208...

Nautilus, Dohney Discovery or Aquabot 4WD

I think I have it narrowed down to these three. Any input from owners? I'm interested in ease of cleaning out debris and good scrubbing of the concrete bottom.

    Best Robot around $750

I should also add that I am a DIY'er so fixing the cleaner myself, if there are issues, would be preferred.

    Best Robot around $750

I know this has been asked many times but I am still so confused. I am looking to replace my old Polaris 180 with a robot and am most concerned with easy cleaning of the bag/filter and good scrubbing power for the bottom of the pool. A handle and cart are a must. A remote would be a bonus...

One of the many reasons why this site is so great.

Not only will you save hundreds of dollars a year using the info on this site, Dave the owner, went out of his way to speak with me on a Sunday morning to solve an issue I was having. You cannot ask for more than that which is the reason I just became a lifetime member. I would encourage anyone...

    Test discrepancy TA

+1 to what Dave said. You really, really have do drip slowly, let gravity pull the drop off the tip. Thanks to Dave, who gave me that advice, my test discrepancy is no more. Seriously let gravity do the work.

Difference in FC test using TFTestkits refill bottle

Thanks to Dave, I figured out my issue, I was dripping too fast. He also said there is no real point in doing the .2ppm test for our needs so I switched to the .5ppm. There is a slight difference in the amount coming out of the two bottles when allowing gravity to pull the drop off the tip as...
