Painting with anything will make it look nice for about 6 months, but the corrosion will continue underneath and the bubbles will start to show the bad spots. I dig mine out with pick and fill with JB weld, sand and repaint. Real pain.

Hopefully someone can help me with this problem. My pool is 7 years old and my pool coping (aluminum) is severely pitted in spots to the point it is completed rotted thru. The majority of the problem is at the deep end of the pool, above the light. This is also where I roll up the pool cover...
