How do you connect a Rheem heat pump and a Pentair EasyTouch PL4/PSL4?

Thank you! So 2 bell wires lying on the ground is correct? Can't I wire Heat on 44 & 46 and cool on 45 & 46? The equipment vendor has been a problem from day one. I knew they sold me a last-generation automation that can't control everything I wanted to control. UGH! I wanted an Intelliflow.

How do you connect a Rheem heat pump and a Pentair EasyTouch PL4/PSL4?

I'm sorry for the long post. Here goes... THE EQUIPMENT INSTALL Last spring the company that installed my Pentair pool pump, also installed a Rheem heat pump (model number 8450TI-E-HC) and a Pentair EasyTouch PL4/PSL4 automation box. The pool equipment installer had problems installing the...

Tiny bugs in pool after rain

After it rains I have tiny bugs in my pool. They cluster along the waterline and when I skim them out with the net they float into the pool in clumps. My pool guy doesn't know what they are, my pest control guy doesn't know what they are. The internet says they're Springtails but I don't think...

Thoughts on my pool equipment install

How do these numbers look? They just got the pool pump running this afternoon. I have a flow meter on the system. So I took some readings at various pool speeds. They had a problem when they poured the equipment pad. So they had to put a number of 90° turns in to get everything to line up. My...

It's not been so bad. I found the advice I've gotten on TFP to be invaluable. I'm very grateful.

Thoughts on my pool equipment install

I asked about that and my pool equipment guy swatted it down. I think I can live with the way it is. I'm not saying you wrong, I'm saying I can live with the way it is.

Thoughts on my pool equipment install

I had my pool pad guy redo the values. They replaced all the valves, installed a flow meter, and added a waste valve (hidden behind the pump). Thoughts?

Thoughts on my pool equipment install

I'm going to have three or four concrete steps going up to my pool and I'd like to under lite them in some fashion. My current idea is to cap each step with a concrete slab, hang the front of the slab over the front of the riser and mount the lights underneath the overhead. I'd be interested in...
