Aquapure 1400 - New cell, No chlorine

I thought it looked suspect but wasn't sure if it was just the outside laminate or damage to the inside as well. Like I mentioned, I'm beginning to think my old cell wasn't dead (4 years) and had a little life left on it. That it was the board all along.

Aquapure 1400 - New cell, No chlorine

Thanks for your feedback @generessler. I was a little worried about the sensor plug as well, especially considering the original mini-flow board appeared to have to go in upside down. Looking at pics it appears the blue wire is on the left which is how mine is setup. The setup procedure is...

Aquapure 1400 - New cell, No chlorine

I replaced my cell after 4 years when it seemed to stop producing much chlorine. After replacing the cell, cable and sensor it’s not consistently producing chlorine. Power cycling the unit appears to start it in different cycles. If I get ‘on’ and ‘flow’ it produces chlorine. If it starts in...

    High Source Alkalinity

I've already begun the the TA lowering process and will look into the Taylor kit. So in general, regions that have high TA in their city water just have to get it under control and then perform more regular acid maintenance (to counter the high TA on refill) than regions that don't have higher...

    High Source Alkalinity

Thanks for the quick reply! I've tried a few :). My original All-Clear standard kit said 230. I took it to the store and they said 170 although I watched as they did the test and the water didn't turn clear at 17 drops so not sure how they came up with that. I then purchased a LaMotte ColorQ...

    High Source Alkalinity

Long time reader, first time poster... I am starting to take over my pool maintenance and one thing that has jumped out is the high TA (170-230). My local store was suprised at the levels and I was thinking about using acid to slowly bring it down but when I tested my source water it was...
