    Outdoor shower w/ cedar enclosure?

Interested in everyone's experience with putting in a simple outdoor shower adjacent to my 8'x15' 5' deep 104F heated spa/pool This will be moderate budget (TX). A number of issues still need to be defined Where: Thinking either against a cedar privacy fence behind the pool or incorporating a...

Narrowing scope robot cleaners. Need input....

I'm still learning. Taking the time to figure out my use case/true needs. My spa/pool is small (8'x15' x universally 5' deep). I'm beginning to wonder how much cleaning I will actually need. Live in a hot humid climate (Houston, TX), but after the hottest month of the year incl a decent...

Need suctions port for pool cleaner - best option?

Many thanks to all! I think I have a gameplan now. Discovered that the front opening (only) skimmer box does have a standard suction port at the bottom. Pool builder failed to remove cap over the port used to protect during construction. Still haven't signed off on delivery, so its his problem...

Narrowing scope robot cleaners. Need input....

I'm now leaning toward getting an electric powered robot cleaner for my 8x15 (5' deep) spa-pool. My goal is to have it clean everything but large debris from floor/walls/waterline tile. Next step is deciding on mfg/model/features. My overwhelming priority is safety. Really bothers me using a...

Need suctions port for pool cleaner - best option?

I have an 8'x15' spa-pool that's uniformly 5' deep. There are two main drains and a front opening water level skimmer in the wall. No top opening basket in the skimmer. I'd like to use a suction driven pool cleaner like the Zodiac G3/.MX6 or Hayward The PoolCleaner. My understanding is they...

Suction vs Battery pool cleaners? Which? Why?

I have a new small (8'x15' rectangular uniformly 5' deep) gunite s-pool (just filled for first time this week). Trying to decide what I need for cleaning. At this point, I'm planning to get a semi-automated cleaner. I have never owned a property with a pool (my wife grew up in one) and readily...
