I think my log sharing is on. I guess at the TA number if the test colors begin to change but have not fully made the cross over. I zero in on the CSI to avoid the white line at the water line. And to protect the pebble tech walls of the pool from too much acid. So, I am over thinking it?

Thanks for your help Texas Splash. Which calculator do you think would be the best to use? The app with the built in salt calc or the Web app adjusted for the salt number?

The calculating for salt brings both calculator nearer to alignment. I have always counted upon the web calculator as being the most reliable. So would you advise that I bring the app calculator into alignment with the web calculator? And if so what adjustment would you recommend?

I do not track salt on my app calculator and no salt is used on the web calculator. So what am I missing?

The discrepancy between the web calculator and the app calculator is realized in the CSI calculation. I apply chemicals with a zero CSI target. I also test and treat both pool and spa (a separate unit) every two to three days. The pool and spa test numbers interred in to the web calculator...

I have used the web pool calculator for several years, but most recently switched to the app calculator. A month ago I decided to compare the two calculators to verify the dose suggestion of one or the other calculators. I am surprised that the calculators do not provide the same test results...
