Jets blowing dirty water when Vacuuming
Just this morning my son was vacuuming, to save water I told him to vac to filter.He came in and said after a couple minutes green stuff coming out of return. We have a sand filter, could this be filter getting overloaded to quickly. We are now vacuuming to waste and I'll catch some water coming...- Richman

Pool - Dichlor First
Moderator comment: This post was separated out from this thread: Dichlor First I have a 18,000 gal pool I'm opening. Can do the same thing ? Use stabilized chlorine , until I get to 30 on the CYA ? Than once my CYA hits 30 ,switch to liquid chlorine .- Richman

Serious help needed
This is getting frustrating and it isn't even my pool. Are we sure the valve on the sand pump is working, so that when you set to filter you are actually on filter ?- Richman
