The grid filtration area is 48 square feet And rated at 96 GPM Edit: according to the owners manual, the flow rate for the pentair fns plus 48, with 48" sqft of filtration, is 120 gpm, based on 2.5 GPM per sqft. Poolcenter.com has it listed at 2.0 GPM per sqft , or 96 GPM.

Hello everybody, I've replaced my filter pressure gauge twice but I'm still not getting a reading. The returning water flow is strong so could it be that I've had bad luck with buying faulty gauges? Also, there isn't any debris blocking the gauge valve. Filter is a Pentair FNS Plus 48.

Has anyone here used CLR for removing calcium buildup off DE grids instead of MA? I'm just trying to find an alternative, but if MA is the best way to remove the buildup I'll use it.
