Do you turn off your pool pump while running robot?

My pump runs during the day, so I usually run the robot early in the morning or later at night, letting the the dirt or whatever settle to the bottom for it to pick up.

    Should I use a clarifier?

Clarifer is supposed to lump the finer particles together so they get filtered out easier. I used it on occasions, well, usually when I messed up. One time I got lazy and instead of cleaning the filter grids, I just back washed. When I turned the water back, all kind of fine dirt and stuff...

LOL, yeah, I do have a tiny bit of the "algae on plaster" from time to time - true, I see what you're saying. Since it's too cold to actually use the pool at this point, it wouldn't go "full green" as long as the pool is maintained with the "minimum effort" as suppose to what's like in the...

Yeah, I understand that there are always places where the robots can't reach. I'm not talking about that. It's the middle bottom and walls. Also, I have a rectangular shape pool, so there are not obstacles the robot has to deal with. Maybe because the S200 is a bit smaller and lighter...

It's as simple as how clean the bottom and walls are after a cycle, comparing to the Nautilus I had.

Have the S200 for 5 months now. While it's doing fine, but I don't think it's cleaning as well as my last 1st generation Nautilus Plus. The Nautilus Plus actually scrubbed the plaster pretty well. A bit disappointed by S200's performance...

Yep, caught it for the first time last week. It was when it just started the cycle going up the wall. Since it was just started, so I was still there and had to yank the cable free.

My Nautilus Plus which I love died. The motor probably burnout when it got stuck on the steps. Looking for a replacement, and it looks like the Active 20 is a good one?

    maytronics dolphin power supply repair

Found a YouTube video on repairing A Dolphin Pool Cleaner - it says that the older models power supply have a fuse, not the recent ones. Mine died last year, and that's what Maytronics told me too.

    Robot Recommendations?

I have a Nautilus CC Plus, and one of the reasons I got it was the 2-yr warranty. My power supply died 2.5+ yrs in, and Maytronics replaced it anyway.

    New Member Question

I usually let my robot loose after the filter is off. I run my filter ~5 1/2 hours, so the robot runs either at night or in the morning.

    Dolphin Nautilus Plus CC Stuck

It might be doing a waterline run? Maybe the rubber tracks are older now so the robot is not able to stay on? It looks that corner is pretty shallow so adjusting the floaters probably not going to help.

    Pool Blaster max died

That happened to my 2nd, and the last, Pool Blaster, a long time ago. I think the water got in there somehow. I was never happy with them, the battery life sucked, they got clogged up fast, and then the suction weaken. I have a robot now.

    Dolphin Nautilus Plus CC Stuck

From the GIF, it looks like it just couldn't get its footing. Mine gets caught on the stairs from time to time.
