Lately I've noticed that my pump will be running then every 3 minutes or so for about 10-15 seconds at a time my pump will be start getting a little louder and sounds like it's kind of "overworking" itsself. The flow at my skimmer basket stays consistent from what I can see but the return lines...

I don't think my pump has different speeds it's just on/off as far as I know. Does the 20 psi on the DE filter mean anything regarding the suction? And yes the pump basket I do see some air bubbles constantly flowing through.

Well king sized bed is a pretty big patch but there are little patches here and there that go around the whole pool so I'd need quite a lot of that material. I'm thinking of going a less expensive route and seeing what happens. All else fails I'm back where I'm at now and the whole pool will...

Thanks for the feedback. 200 bucks shipped for only 25 sq feet is pretty expensive. That's probably the size of a king sized bed roughly.

Have some damage on plaster surface and am going to do the repair work myself. I mentioned before that I heard you can use plain tile grout to fill in areas that are damaged. Anyone tried this or know of a better product?

I'm wondering.. could I do a "repair" myself? Drain the pool scrape off all the loose stuff I can get and mix some apoxy myself and apply it to even out surfaces then just get a nice pool paint and go from there? If so what materials could I use for the repair?

Ok thanks for the feedback. Also, in the meantime the pool isn't really swimmable until it is fixed so should I drain it now or leave the water?
