My cover looks like the one in this picture. (This isn’t mine, but mine is the same thing) Mostly, I’m hoping to find a pump that gets the water level lower so there’s not a big puddle on the cover.

Just the weight of the cover itself creates a low spot in the middle. The water pools there without any weight from the pump. The heavy pump just deepens the low spot unnecessarily, causing there to be standing water.

My pool has a solid cover. It really keeps the pool clean until spring startup. The downside is that a pool cover pump is needed to pump the rain off the cover. I have the Little Giant pool cover pump. They should really have just called it “giant”. It’s large and it heavy. It’s a workhorse...

I love my Dolphin Pool Robot, but it seems to be obsessed with the steps. It tries to climb the steps and gets stuck. I go and remove it and what’s it do? Goes right back. Are there any solutions to this challenge?

I replaced my Polaris with a Maytronics robot 4 years ago. It cleans much more thoroughly than the Polaris did.

My Dolphin pool cleaner was running when a storm passed through shortly ago. Now nothing is working. The outlet the power supply was plugged into tests good. Is there a chance the power supply will come back to life if it has a chance to dry out?

I tested my FC the evening before last - 7.0 perfect. Today it’s 3.0 it’s been sunny and hot. Is it normal for FC to burn off like that in the blazing sun? CYA is 60. I just added some CYA to bump it to 75.

I have a container of R-0870 that turned purple over the winter. Will it still give accurate FC results, or is it toast?
