Can't tell if pump is defective or just underpowered.....

I have the same pool and pump and have no issues but I don't have the skimmer. Try it without the skimmer and hooked up normally. Maybe there's just enough air draw somehow to cause a lack of vacuum. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    32X16X52 Intex Rect Pool - Paver spacement/measurements

I used the small cheap pavers on mine when I did the install last year and they are still holding up on my 12x24. Never took it down all year even in the freeze and massive rain we get in yhe northwest. Just turned off the pump when I knew it would freeze. During rain the excess just runs out...

    AGP Padding

Thanks Funfinder. Just finished leveling the ground. that was a weeklong adventure doing myself as our back yard was really sloped. I was also wondering if you compensated for the 3/4 inch foam thickness with what your support legs are resting on. Meaning, if you added the 3/4 inch foam, did you...

    AGP Padding

The hard form insulation padding? I was worried it would dent but I guess with all the water weight it would already be compressed.Thank you. I'm sure I will make many mistakes but trying to reduce them. Never had a pool before. Grandkids are excited.

I just purchased an Intex pool and was looking for information on leveling correctly and saw some interesting posts on foam or insulation padding underneath. I'm wondering if it is the firm insulation padding or a soft foam padding, and if I need sand or if firm ground with the padding would be...

    AGP Padding

Moderator comment: This post was separated out from this thread: 32X16X52 Intex Rect Pool - Paver spacement/measurements I just purchased an intex rectangle pool and wondered about the foam padding you put down. Was it a stiff foam insulation or was it a soft type of padding you used? Thank you
