    Repairing cracked Stairs

Anyone DIY a stair repair like this- meaning drill holes, stuff sand, epoxy and fiberglass over the tread? My very handy husband thinks it’s doable? How about building a dam around the stairs so we don’t have to drain the whole pool? Anyone do this before?

    Repairing cracked Stairs

Hello Everyone, Our new home came with a pool which had a cracked stair that was previously repaired. It was “not a problem “ post repair (which looks like a DIY patch job). The water level was stable until after we started using the pool. I noticed the water level would drop 1-2” every 2-3...

Thanks for the help, great articles. I’m having trouble finding the one on alkalinity and why TFP recommends a much lower level than the pool store guys. BTW- love the compliments from family about what a huge change in water clarity - yeay TFP!!😁

WE DID IT!! Ok, Finally got the water clear, it was great the last 5 days where we could actually see a difference every day in how clear the water was until we finally shouted for joy the first time we saw the deep end drain! We ended up changing the sand even though we cleaned it out, now we...

3 weeks and no bottom in sight!

We were maintaining the chlorine levels at 11/12 other than the past 48 hrs. I don’t understand how the extra chlorine will help clear the water. My understanding is that if my overnight test is fine that means I don’t have any organic debris eating it up - so I should be able to go down to...

Also, this is our filter- I don’t know how to describe it. We have been backwashing it when the pressure goes up. So it runs around 10 when clean and we backwash when it gets close to 15.
