My non-treated fill water had a TA = 40. I did the damp cloth wipe method just to be safe (figured it was worth doing if they mentioned that in the instructions). The water isn't clear as construction is close to finishing and we just got the equipment started.

Hi everyone, new pool owner here. I just place my order for the TF-100 test kit and added the magnetic stirrer as so many suggested that add-on. I'm excited to learn from everyone and as a DIY guy, this forum seems to be a wonderful asset! Hope I can add some help once I get experience as well...
