    Calcium Hardness

I've considered a speed stir, but this is a good reminder to order one. We are: Given that, and that the CH has been consistent for awhile, it seems like a good idea to try to raise it to 350 from what you've said? Any recommendation on a product to use? Thanks again!

    Calcium Hardness

I have 2 questions on calcium hardness (CH): 1. When testing, you are looking for a change from red to blue. There is usually an initial change to blue, but with tiny red droplets still suspended in the water. Usually adding about 3 more drops will get the tiny droplets to disappear too. When do...

    Rising FC Problem

Thank you! I was pushing pH to 7.2 because it kept rising daily, so I figured that shooting for the bottom of the PoolMath range would be best, assuming it keeps creeping up, though as Mdragger88 pointed out (which I did not know) the pH test is not valid above FC of 10.

    Rising FC Problem

After a couple years getting my TFP/PoolMath methodology in good shape, I'd gotten to the point where I would test weekly, and usually need a small amount of muriatic acid weekly to lower pH. All of the sudden recently things seem to have gone sideways, and I've not been able to figure out...

    Valve Actuator for Heater Question

I just hooked up a Jandy valve actuator to my heater bypass valve. I connected it to the Intellicenter, and assigned the actuator to the heater (screenshot attached). I was thinking there was supposed to be a delay when turning off the heat, to keep water flowing through the heater while it...

    Valve Actuator Recommendation

I have a Jandy Neverlube 3-port valve as a bypass for my heater (Raypak), and an Intellicenter (everything besides heater is Pentair). I want to add an actuator for the bypass, but I'm a little confused looking at the actuator options. They all (Pentair, Jandy, generic) seem to claim universal...

    Cracks Around Coping Stone

Here are pictures from below the stone, which covers the skimmer intake. Also worth mentioning that the stone is a little loose. Thanks!
