Spill Over spa - Pool/Spa Pump times

Mine runs over constantly. I don't think it affects ph/aeration much, which I think is most peoples concern.

    Pump not turning on

Yes. I would guess that the main power line comes up from the ground into that box, then to the timer and light. I would bet there's a breaker inside that box.

    Pump not turning on

The breaker for my pool is in the same box as the rest of the house.

    Volume of posts on TFP

I try to read or skim every post on TFP via the unread posts option. It takes a lot of work to keep up with. I was just curious of the average number of posts per day or month or whatever. Does the forum admin/mods have any stats on this? Thanks, Billy

    timer/swg/pump question

I run normal filtration/swg at about 1100 RPMs. Would be fine lower, but that's what keeps the heater from low flow error. I ramp it up to 3000 to run the cleaner.

Changing light - cannot pull wire out

I had to make sure I got all the sealant out from around the wire exiting the niche. There was lot that was holding it in place.

are one type of filter cartridge better then others?

The last set I ordered before upgrading the whole filter, I ordered from http://www.poolfiltercartridges.biz (filters4less on amazon). I'm guessing they were generic, but they seemed to work fine.

    Need Advice on Automated System

I have the easy touch as well. Love it. I went with the ScreenLogic over the Autelis after a lot of research, but can't remember the deciding factors. I don't see how you could be disappointed in either setup. When I upgraded my equipment, Pentair had a deal for extended warranties for...

    Costs of running a pool?

When I found this site, I immediately went and bought bleach, baking soda, and borax. I'm fairly certain I never used the baking soda or borax. I think that's the point jblizzle was making. I've found that bleach and muriatic acid are really the only items I need to keep on hand. Since the...

Renting out a house with a pool

The last house I rented, the owner had a pool service that I was responsible for paying. After the first time they came out and I saw what little he did, I said no way I'm paying for that. That's when I joined TFP and fired the pool company!!!

    Recommendations for New SWG

I think Pentair sent me a check valve to install on the IntelliPh that's supposed to help. Also, it should be fairly easy to extend the tubing so that the connections aren't inside the housing. I'm just not there enough to deal with it. Pentair's support has been great though.
