My little cleaner shark needs to be cleaned of hard water buildup on the top hose attachment thing. She isn't spinning around anymore and just sits there. I am hesitating flushing it out with CLR as I don't really know what it may do to the rubber and plastic parts. Any ideas?

In my experience the cloudiness is the dead algae that has settled to the bottom. It is easy to kill, not so easy to get rid of the sludge. try stuffing the center of the filter cartridge with a sock and put a sock over the output (we used a hair elastic to keep ours attached). Rinse them OFTEN, like every hour. Sort of a redneck way of doing it but worth a try.

Update: After almost giving up here is what I did to help our white water. Kept shocking the heck out of the water for 3 days to make sure all bad buggies were dead. Turned off the pool pump and let everything sediment to the bottom. Filled to overfilling and turned on the little vaccuum guy...
