BIG trouble I think - liner detached (pics)

Just wanted to update this thread with the end (for now) results. By the second day about half the displacement on the liner was back to "normal" (some wrinkles) What I did as per builder instruction also was to add about 6" of water which helped push back the water under the liner even more...

BIG trouble I think - liner detached (pics)

Thanks, appreciate the replies. wow.. duraleigh, looks like you had seen the future :-) But we did talk to the builder at the time and they installed gravel at the deep end and piped it to the pump so it can be pumped to waste. They actually had to keep it running while they were installing the...

BIG trouble I think - liner detached (pics)

Hello everybody, I just went to check on my pool here in central NJ as we had a lot of rain past few days and found some horror... Looks like the liner has separated from the sides in many places. We have had this pool since 2012, never had this issue. I am about to call the pool company, but...

Location of the temperature sensor for the solar heater

Thanks JohnT, yes, this might not be a typical installation, we first thought of putting the panels right next to the pool. But once we realized what a rack of 500sqf of panels looks like, my wife thought of putting them in the back, builder cleared some space. We did some calculation of heat...

Location of the temperature sensor for the solar heater

Hello, On my solar heating system, the sensor that is used to evaluate the panel temperature (and circulate water through the panels or not) is very much influenced by the wind. The Sensor is a usual 10K Thermistor Temperature Sensor, just attached on the side of the equipment area. Even on...

    What is this thing?

As the picture doesn't show much I could be off but I have a few of these on my deck, it's simply to cover the built in umbrella holes in the deck during the winter (made out of threaded PVC pipes) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Install a pump in pool under a mesh cover?

samt, thanks, that's a huge improvement over my current setup which is to undo a bunch of these mesh straps and by the way each time as much as I try not to, risk damaging a slight bit more the stamped concrete deck with the tool to pop these straps. With this setup at least I'd just have to...

Install a pump in pool under a mesh cover?

Hello, I've been looking around for suggestion for this, but can't find anything so far (sorry if this was answered already): we just closed our pool, installed the mesh cover (Merlin, Smartmesh). Last year every couple of weeks or so, I had to go and pop 5 or 6 of the cover retaining spring...

    Intellibrite lighting question

I had it changed to narrow on a 40', deep is great, but depending on color, shallow goes from dark to very dark.

    Grass damage issues with salt?

We have grass around our SWG pool and love it. Only been one year, but no damage to the grass during last season. Only thing, we need to bag the clippings in that area, but no big deal. (note picture was taken the day after putting sod, so brown you see on the lower right grass is just mud)...

Type of Sacrificial Anode for SWG Pool

Yes, I was going to go for the Pool Tool anode, seemed easy enough to install, but from reading about this type of anode, some people are saying it introduces Zinc in your pool water, so I opted for buying a boat Zinc anode and going to bond and bury it.

Can my solar heater piping go underground?

We have a similar situation. Installed last year solar panels a bit over 120' from pool and about 4 or 5' higher (we had a huge flat area there hidden partially by trees from pool and unobstructed southern exposure). Panels are mounted on a slanted rack about 50' by 10' (500Sqft of panels)...
