That's my thinking as well. I GC'd the build of our house, so I know the inspector well. He's a good guy, but definitely of the "no such thing as too safe" school (nothing wrong with that, he has to cover his Rear AND the town's, so I get it). So I'd rather not open the can of worms unless necessary.

He hasn't mentioned them in any of his visits. I know I could simply ask him, but I'm slightly concerned I get a "Well, they're not required but they're a good idea" response.

We have a "sport bottom" inground that is 3.5' at each end and 6' in the middle that we installed this year. I need to get final signoff from the building inspector, but can't find anything in the ISPSC that requires stickers. The pool manufacturer sent some, just not sure if I have to use them...

I used 2" flex PVC for both the returns/suction side of the AquaGenie skimmers I used in my own pool. On the return side, I had a leak and ended up needing to cut out a short run of 2" rigid PVC pipe that went directly into the coupler collar on the bottom of the AquaGenie. So I spent two hours...

We just opened our 16x36' inground built from a PW kit yesterday. It has two AquaGenies on one wall (so a return/intake in each) with an additional return on the other wall. Each return and intake has a ball-valve shut off. If I'm vacuuming, should I shut off the intake from one of the AquaGenies?

Looks like I may have over-tightened some bolts holding the steps together; the gap between the riser and tread wasn't consistent and was too tight in some spots. Ended up using some electrical wire pull lube and was able to work them in.

Struggling a bit to get the rubber bead on the back of the liner to fit into the receiver channels on the Hydra steel steps. I have to press so hard, the plastic install tools they sent are cutting into the rubber bead. Is there some sort of lubricant like dish soap or something I could use, or...

We have an inground vinyl over steel wall kit from PW and are attempting the liner install today. Rolled it all out, and noticed that the spacing between seams is a bit off. For example, it's a "sport court" bottom, so shallow at each and, and deep in the middle. The hopper should be 24" wide...

I have a liner-over-steel wall kit I bought from PW. They recommend a mix of ten parts sand and one part cement for the pool floor. I understand you can't have rain while it's setting up, but once it's cured, can it get rained on? I guess what I'm asking is how solid will this be.

For whatever reason, clear gravel is tougher to find around me. So I used 3/4" gravel mixed with sand.
