What type of cover I need for Raised wall

Hello Everyone, I have a raised wall pool. I need a cover. I was told that for raised wall pool, my only option is custom cover. I was told that standard cover will not last more than 2-3 years. Unfortunately I was quoted very high price for that. I am just wondering whether I have any...

    SLAM done - now what

Thanks for all the response. I did follow the TFP SLAM method, for yellow mustard the FC chlorine level was 45 for CYC 70. That's why I went so high. I was using Calcium Hychoride 73%, but now using Costco Liquid chlorine.

    SLAM done - now what

Last week I have followed the SLAM method to get rid of mustard and green algae. I have a 33000 gallon pool, CYC 60, PH 7.2, TA 100. My current FC is 6.5, CC is 0, but during SLAMing the FC was 45. Now the pool looks clear. My question is what do I do next to maintain this. Before joining...

Yes, that was the problem. Once I put the Centrifugal switch on the governor, it worked immediately. Thanks for responding.

Water leaking below sand filter - do not see any leak

Thanks a lot. I believe my filter is Pentair Cristal-Flo II sand Filter, although I am not sure about the size. I see that they have several model 16", 19", 22", 24", and 26". My sand filter is pretty big, if there any way to measure my current sand filter? My pool is 40000 gallon pool...

Water leaking below sand filter - do not see any leak

Thanks. Should I replace with a sand filter or go for something else? Also if I replace with sand filter, can I reuse the sand since it was changed last year.

Water leaking below sand filter - do not see any leak

Okay, I found the leak. It's at the bottom of the sand filter, water is coming out from the sand filter base. I had the sand replaced last year, and it was fine until I open the pool this year. Last year, the pool was closed by a company who had been closing my pool for several years...

Water leaking below sand filter - do not see any leak

Thanks for your reply Texas Splash and Mike5265. I used teflon tape in my drain cap. I don't see any water coming out from anywhere. I will look for weak spot in the sand filter. Is there any trick to identify hair-line leak.

Water leaking below sand filter - do not see any leak

I need help to solve this puzzle. I have a 33K gallon pool with sand filter. When I start the pump, within minutes I will see pool of water near my sand filter. I don't see any leak. I have inspected the sand filter drain plug, multi port valve, pump, but I don't see anything. If I stop the...

High CYA, afraid of liner damage draining water...

I had the same thing happened two years ago. Draining the pool water was not an option for me - too costly. It was also in early August. So what I did was increased the amount of shock. I had used liquid chlorine - the one you get in Costco since my local pool store didn't have any. It...

Pool pump humming, centrifugal Switch stuck open

My pool pump was leaking at the bottom, so I gathered enough courage to take the impeller off and replaced the seal. When replacing the impeller, I removed the capacitor and held the back of the shaft using a pliers (mistake) and I may have damaged the spring switch at the end of the shaft. I...
