Update. I gave the glue a shot, and it’s been working unexpectedly well for a day now. Used JB weld marine weld to glue it on. Then loctite marine epoxy on the outside to seal completely. Surprised it worked but so far so good.

Is it even worth fixing? I’m not trusting the the pool guy will take any liability. How much to replace a sand filter or should I replace with something better and if so what?

Seems my pool guy broke this piece attached to the filter when closing last year. Is this reparable with some type of epoxy?

Good idea but I’m not sure the tape would hold with the rain/cold weather.

It is a tarp cover. Always works well except for those 2 corners where the stair case is. If it was just a flat rectangle with no stairs I probably could keep it for many years.

I have a standard 16x32 rectangular pool with a built in stairway that comes out another 3 feet or so. Every year my pool cover rips where the stairway corners are. I’ve tried a variety of covers. Is there a solution for this anyone can recommend?

Thanks, now it’s only running on max speed. So my variable is now a single speed. Is this something worth bringing in and getting fixed? Or live with single speed until it stops working completely?

Hi, I have a hayward super pump vs, model sp2600vsp, which I bought 7 or 8 years ago. Recently the user interface on top has started glitching. It still runs the program I have set before but I can’t change it. The buttons are acting weird and not doing what they should. All is fine for now...

Installer seems confident that it’s no issue and manufacturer will honor warranty. I noticed it was rounded, installer said that’s intentional and it’s installed with a backing that is curved. It seems really squishy now, probably due to all the water behind it! Only issue now is they stopped...

Definitely the seam, I sent pic to installer and he agreed. He is going to contact manufacturer to replace....I assume labor is covered as well isn’t that standard? I installed at end of last season. Only been swimming for a month.

I had a new liner installed last fall. Found a huge hole today. Is this the fault of the manufacturer, installer or other? Looks like it’s on the seam.... pics attached, black spot by step
