They have a shallow well so I'm afraid to drain too much . They have 3 houses using the that one well. Unless said when the filled it the first time they had a truck bring 27,000 gallons of water and filled the rest with the well. I don't want to dry out their well. It's 90+ degree days here...

So I just did a High CYA test. Filled to 7 added bottled water to 14. Drained off to 7 and added fresh water again. Drained to 7 and added R13 ro 14 and the result was 80. So I multiply x 4 due to I diluted once which made 50% pool water. Then I diluted that which made it 25% correct? So at 25%...

Did you see how high it was on the test kit. OMG it's at the very bottom. Probably 200+ They were using Trichlor and Dichlor and no test kit. Just thinking clear water is ok. Those both raise CYA and IDK how long they been doing it.
