My skimmer line was clogged after vacuuming. I got out the drain bladder and put it in the skimmer line. Unfortunately, when I turned off the water and pulled the hose out, the bladder stayed behind. It’s stuck about 2ish feet from the skimmer opening. It is the rubber piece and brass fitting...

Victory! I was finally able to break it free. It took a whole lot of muscle, the wrench, a mallet, and my wife. I had to hold and pull while she hammered away, but it finally broke loose!

I’ve tried the hair dryer and hot water. I’ve tried with pump running and pressure relieved as well. I’ve used a mallet, the wire tool, the Hayward tool. I think the lube has ‘welded’ it. I can’t break it free. I’ll try it all again tomorrow, but I am certain it’s going to have to be broken. I...

Mine wasn’t that high, but I got TA to about 90. Ph has stabilized and I haven’t had to bring it down since. I think I’m going to leave it around there.

Greetings, I have a Hayward 3100d pump lid that is beyond stuck. I’ve read everything I can find on how to unstick it but it won’t budge even with the correct tool. The pump isn’t bolted to the concrete which makes it much harder. I’m afraid I’m going to destroy the plumbing if I use any more...
