PDA with IAquaLink antenna and successfully programming

This all came about today. I had ordered a new pcb (rs8 p&s…or so I thought). My pda had stopped responding but I noticed that if I disconnected my PDA, my aqualink would connect (when my pda wouldn’t connect my aqualink would not as well) So I went ahead and popped in the new pcb and began...

PDA with IAquaLink antenna and successfully programming

Always good to read up on this. But this write up mentions a pda based system still can only program via the pda with the addition of an IQ30 antenna. I was able to program from the web interface with my original pda pcb installed once I disconnected my pda from the system.

PDA with IAquaLink antenna and successfully programming

Today I learned that you can program your pda based system via the web interface if you have an iAquaLink antenna. I discovered this after I disconnected my pda as it wasn’t connecting to the receiver. Apologies if this was known-I was under the assumption that it could not program. It’s...

    Aqualink Upgrade

Wonderful. So I had a chance to open things up this morning. Looks like I already have a multiplex board tied to the system. I would assume I would connect the new iq30 to the multiplex pcb board and proceed with Wi-Fi set up?

    Aqualink Upgrade

Thank you for the reply. Considering I already purchased a used aqualink 3 antenna, this would be as simple as connecting the new antenna along with the current antenna? And if I wanted to further upgrade down the road, I could purchase the 50 pin RS board to have full control?

    Aqualink Upgrade

I currently have a PDA system and am just interested in a Wi-Fi antenna to turn a few things on and off (for now). I feel like I am getting conflicting info on how/if I can set this up…. I may have gotten overzealous when I found a IQ-30a for $200 on eBay. My current set up is as pictured...

    Oil absorbents

I’ve used the scumbug in the past, but the price is so high for basically a sponge. So on I searched for a better product. Curious is anyone has used a product such as: Oil Absorbents, with 3 lb. Oil Removal Capacity https://www.mcmaster.com/44155K68 Definitely on the larger size for a...
