We used the blue boards with blue tape.....our liner is a darker blue, and you can't see the tape at all. That being said, my inlaws used white foam and taped with silver duct tape under a light blue liner, and they complain that they can see the tape lines through the liner, so, possibly if...

We used the 3/4" blue foam from Lowes and love it so far! Ours was tongue and groove, so Mike fit it all nice and tight and then used blue Tuck Tape to tape the seams and it looks great so far....no seams (yet). :)

She's all tarped up and ready for the rain! Our Weather Men up here are notorious for not knowing what the heck they are talking about.........but we are ready either way! :D :D

Question about setting up the pool after a couple of days of rain..... Me again! :D So....I think we are ready to commence erecting pool! :D The problem is......we.....as are most people thanks to Cindy.....are expecting a couple of days of rainfall.....5-10mm tomorrow 10-15mm...

We used a tiller to loosen the ground, then dug with the shovel........pick axe for random stones, then rake and repeat. :D As I said in my earlier post........we went down 18" on the high side, all dug by hand. I've heard that a pitch fork can help loosen the ground up as well. :)

In Southwestern Ontario, footings need to be 4 feet deep to prevent frost heaving........all of our fence posts are in 4 feet deep........that is an awfully deep hole for a concrete retaining wall. :/ Yikes

Thank you for the tip! :) After he packs it, he will put a layer of sand, and then a layer of foam down and then the coving, like his parents have under their liner......hopefully this will avoid any divots. :) A divot won't be a problem tho if the ground underneath, on the side he has built...
