zea3, My pool is about 1/4 full of water. The plug that was used was the rubber type with wing nut on the end to tighten it down. I believe that the water in the hose froze and expanded enough to push the plug out.

It has been about a week since I passed the OCLT, I have brought my PH up and increased my CYA to 50. I am losing 2-3 PPM of FC per day, and my water has never looked clearer. :lovetfp: My next project is a deck in the next couple of weeks.

It was warm and sunny today, CYA is between 35-40. I am going to raise it after I test tomorrow to around 50. No chance of someone getting in for a dip I haven't installed the ladder yet and water temp is about 67.

Would you expect to lose a lot of your FC after the shocking process and you pass the OCLT. The reason I ask is after passing the OCLT, my FC was 16 and due to work scheduling I was unable to test the water until 17 hours later. The FC was 10 and CC was still 0. Is this a concern?

Passed the OCLT, CC is 0, and water is clear :party: . What is my next step in balancing my water? Do I just let FC get dow to normal level for my CYA and test for PH,CH, and TA?

I bought my cyanuric acid at walamrt. It is labeled "Stabilizer" and contains 100% cyanuric acid. It is in granulate form and I put it in an old sock in front of my return.
