Not yet. Used a mallet, white lithium grease, hot water. Just ordered a new lock ring and a file to gently saw it off. Hope I don't ruin the tank or I'm in for a new one. Had 2 big guys twisting and turning, nothing worked. I bet I'll pay closer attention reassembling the filter after the next...

Help anybody. Cleaned my filter, reassembled it and put the lock ring on the wrong way. As I turned on the pump, water starting shooting out from the cartridge at the lock ring. Now I can't remove the lock ring to put it on the right way
