Okay I used the sock method and added 16 oz to the pool. I tested cya this morning and the dot doesn't disappear until it gets to the very top. Should I add more or just wait?

Should I try backwashing before I do the sock idea? I don't think my pressure gauge works like it's supposed to. It never goes over 10 but I always have a lot of pressure coming out of my jet.

I backwashed for a few minutes right before I added the stabilizer. Haven't backwashed since.

I added 24 oz of the stabilizer. I bought the Clorox stabilizer from Walmart. I put it in my skimmer Saturday afternoon. Not sure what to do at this point.

Yes I've used pool math quite religiously for the past three months. It only tells how much to use if adding liquid, not granular. I'm not sure if it makes a difference.
