    Orange water!!

Have a question for any water expert. My wife and I build a new house last year about an hour south of where we used to live, the place we sold had great water. My biggest fear moving was how the water was going to be when the new well was drilled, well it turned out to be not so good. Filling...

    Confused

I had that same issue with my pool and yes it was right after vacuuming and there would be a small amount of water on the concrete but would dry up soon after. I don't think you have to be worried unless it doesn't stop.

    Intex air jet return

The new Intex has a small screw in adapter on the return valve that also comes with a rubber cap that will cover the small air holes, with the cap on it's just normal return flow and with the cap off it shoots alot of air bubbles in with the flow. My question concerns the water chemistry, what...

New re-designed Intex 14X42" Ultra frame pool, question on double suction outlets

Re: New re-designed Intex 14X42" Ultra frame pool, question on double suction outlets I just put one of the dual intakes up and did plug one of them, if you stand facing the pool the 2 black intakes are to the right and the return is to the left, looking at your pics to me it looks like you...

    Painted the pool black today

We just replaced a 7 year old Intex this year and the color of the outside of the liner is noticeably darker now, a darker grey the before.

    New Intex Pool

Is the adapter the plug screws into an Intex part or aftermarket or do they make a cap that screws onto the 1.5 intake.

    New Intex Pool

I like your setup alot, what did you use to plug the hole? My skimmer that I took off the old pool has adapters so I can use the Intex hoses so I have to figure a way to get everything connected.

    New Intex Pool

This year we are replacing a 7 year old 18 foot round Intex that the legs rusted out. The new pool I have is the Intex with the dual intakes, those intakes are a smaller size connector and for now I want to use the in pool skimmer. I think I can cut into the liner the larger style intakes but...

    Intex leg joint

After 7 years with our Intex it finally started to give out, the problem was the legs and beams started to rust and luckily we were able to finish out the year with it. We will be ordering another one soon but have a question, I saw an add for a replacement joint assembly that connects the leg...

    Low TA

I have a bag that I bought last year that is unused and it's 6 lbs. Will have to use the pool math to figure out how much to use.

    Low TA

I did a test tonight and was happy with most of the results. FC-13 CC-.5 Ph-7.1 TA-40 CH-60 CYA-80 The high FC level was not my doing, I had the wife pick up some bleach at the store and she decided to dump the whole gallon into the pool! My Ph level has always been at that level never higher...

    Water level

Thanks Jason I was hoping that it would work at the higher level because that is were the wife likes the water level to be and I also installed the 2650 Intex pump a couple of weeks ago so there is alot of flow now and it is working great. - - - Updated - - - Will go out and fight the...

    Water level

I am going to install a through wall skimmer, how high on the skimmer when it is installed can the water level be? We like the water level up to about the gray line on the Intex but looking at pics here that may be to high, can you go half way up the skimmer.
