Does the salt have negative effects on the metal around the light?

As far as not adding chlorine daily, I could do the pentair intellichem system that automatically feeds chlorine/acid in when needed

Currently have a 20,000 fiberglass pool. Had copper, which I’ve removed. Been using chlorine… live in Vegas, is the salt worth it? Will there be cost savings and or less maintenance? I have the pentair Intellicenter automation. Also, how do I go about switching over if I decide? Best brand?

Have a 20,000 gallon fiberglass pool. When it was installed they put a copper ionization system on it, I’m looking to get rid of that and switch to regular chlorine. What’s the best way to go about doing this?
