When I first got mine I charged it up with the cord. Since then it's only charged by solar and charge has stayed at 91% for the past week that I've been using my new Surfer 2. To answer your other question, in the app it does have scheduling but I haven't used it yet to see how well it works.

I have no experience with it, but maybe you could try Google lens and do a search with the picture. Good luck.

I have found that YouTube has videos that are very instructional. You could try a search on YouTube for your particular brand and model and see if there any videos. Good luck.

It has a new firmware from 1.0 to 2.0 so make sure you update yours when you get it. Very easy to update it through their app.

I just got my Aiper Surfer 2 and so far I love it. To answer your question about debris dumping in reverse, mine has not. It has a flapper door keeps debris from coming out. I have a very simple pool, no steps or ledges. At first it didn't bother with the skimmer, but then it was sideways...

We have the Aiper Surfer S2 on order being delivered next week. I think the battery is 5200mAh, but I don't know what else might be different from the M1 mentioned. The Surfer S2 comes with a 2 year warranty and my credit card has an extended warranty benefit for another 2 years. So hopefully...

Thanks guys! Yeah, the warranty sounds definitely like a great idea and necessity. Our local Leslie's has it for sale with a 2 year warranty, but there's no returning it if you use it, so Amazon it is.

Does it get close to the edges of the pool? We're due for an onslaught of that fluffy stuff from the cottonwood trees and it has a habit of clinging to the pool's edges.

Thanks, Mike! That sounds pretty cool. Our skimmer isn't that strong so maybe I won't have to worry about that, or put a noodle piece in there. The thought of not having to hand skim as much sounds wonderful!

Hey guys, I'm very interested in the Betta SE Plus skimmer robot but can't help but wonder if it's going to get hung up on our ladder all the time. Has anyone had this issue or do I not need to worry about it. I called them up and didn't really get a definitive answer. Thanks!
